DESCRIPTION
Atomic Hybrid Skins are complete ski touring skins developed in direct conjunction with Atomic Backland 78 UL, Backland 78 and Backland 80 PT skis. Native compatibility with these models ensures optimal coverage of the running surface without the need for complex trimming: the two available sizes cover 175 cm and 163 cm, and with a single longitudinal cut they also fit all intermediate lengths.
Material and performance
The pile is made of 100% mohair, the natural fiber of choice for ski touring skins when glide is prioritized. Compared to mohair/nylon blends, pure mohair offers reduced friction resistance in glide and overall lightness, while maintaining effective grip on climbs on moderate slopes. It is the ideal choice for those who cover high altitudes in a day or compete in ski mountaineering competitions, where every gram and every tenth of resistance counts.
Attachment system
- Front and rear attachment compatible with the Atomic Backland system for precise and quick positioning
- Thermostable glue for reliable adhesion even in cold conditions and wet snow
