DESCRIPTION
Atomic Skin 78/80 skins are specifically designed for Backland series skis with a tip width of 78-80 mm, particularly the Backland 78 UL, 78, and 80 PT models. Thanks to the PreFit cut, the skins come already shaped to the exact form of these skis, eliminating any trimming: they are mounted directly and are immediately ready for use.
Composition and uphill performance
The fabric is made from a 70% mohair blend, a percentage that ensures a good balance between glide and grip. Mohair provides a smooth surface that reduces friction during gliding phases, while the nylon content adds durability and wear resistance over time, extending the lifespan of the skin even with frequent use or on abrasive snow.
Adhesion system and ease of use
The adhesive used is Hotmelt Glue, a thermoplastic technology that ensures uniform and stable adhesion across the entire ski surface, even in conditions of intense cold or humidity. This system reduces the risk of partial detachment during the ascent and simplifies the operations of detaching and reattaching at altitude.
