The Verto Gore-Tex® are mountaineering shoes built to tackle technical high-altitude terrain, where waterproofing, stability, and protection must coexist without compromising on weight. The upper combines abrasion-resistant high-tenacity mesh with a three-layer GORE-TEX® membrane, which guarantees total waterproofing and active breathability sufficient even during the most demanding ascents.
Technologies and construction
- The arch support shank reduces torsion on uneven terrain, improving stride control on rock and scree.
- The SKYCORE protection, developed by The North Face, is a lightweight impact-resistant system that covers the areas most exposed to strikes from rocks and debris without weighing down the fit.
- The sole design is focused on grip on mixed surfaces: wet ground, rocky trails, and icy sections typical of the alpine environment.
