DESCRIPTION
The Verto Gore-Tex® are mountaineering shoes built to tackle technical high-altitude terrain, where waterproofing, stability, and protection must coexist without compromising on weight. The upper combines high-tenacity abrasion-resistant mesh with a three-layer GORE-TEX® membrane, ensuring complete waterproofing and active breathability even during the most demanding climbs.
Technologies and Construction
- The arch stabilization plate reduces torsion on uneven terrain, improving stride control on rock and scree.
- SKYCORE protection, developed by The North Face, is a lightweight anti-impact system that covers areas most exposed to impacts from rocks and debris without adding weight to the fit.
- The sole design is geared towards grip on mixed surfaces: wet ground, rocky trails, and icy sections typical of the alpine environment.
