The Wild Country Xenon HMS Screwgate is a screwgate carabiner designed for belaying and anchoring with a Munter hitch (HMS). Its asymmetric pear shape ensures the rope runs correctly during belaying and rope retrieval, reducing the risk of accidental carabiner inversion even under load.
Technical features
The pear geometry is designed to keep the HMS hitch in the correct position, preventing the knot from migrating towards the gate during use.
