DESCRIPTION
Arco Pareti Vol. 2 is the climbing guide that completes the work started with the first volume, moving from the classic Arco area towards the more remote and wild Sarca Valley. If Vol. 1 covered the most frequented and accessible crags, this second chapter opens the doors to a less-travelled territory, where the approach requires more effort but the reward is still unspoiled and uncrowded sectors.
Content and Structure
The volume collects a substantial number of multi-pitch routes suitable for different levels, easily accessible and well-documented, alongside more challenging itineraries designed for those already familiar with exploratory mountaineering. The guide describes walls where accessible classics and technical gems for expert climbers coexist, making the book useful for both climbing teams approaching multi-pitch and those with higher ambitions.
Why take it to the crag
- Covers sectors of the Sarca Valley not present in other existing guides
- Includes information on approaches, descents, and belay conditions
- Photographic documentation and topo maps for orientation on complex walls
- Text in Italian, with precise technical terminology
For those who frequent Arco and already know the classic areas, this volume represents the natural next step: a concrete resource for exploring corners of the valley that have remained outside the most known circuits, with the editorial quality and attention to detail typical of Versante Sud.
