DESCRIPTION
The Totem Cam 1.25 (Green) is a four-cam climbing friend designed for traditional climbing, identifiable by its green color which indicates its size. The core of the design is the patented Direct Loading Camming Device system: unlike conventional designs, the load is transferred directly from the single lever to the four cams without passing through the central axle, distributing forces more efficiently and reducing the risk of deformation under dynamic load.
Technical Features
The cams, made of high-strength aluminum alloy, feature a dual-curve profile that maintains a constant contact angle with the rock throughout the entire expansion range. The flexible stem made of coated steel cable allows the cam to adapt to non-perfectly vertical or slightly tapered cracks without compromising placement stability. The single actuation lever allows for quick insertion and removal even in awkward positions or when wearing gloves.
