DESCRIPTION
The The North Face Women's Explore Camp Sandals reinterpret the classic trekking sandal with a contemporary twist, combining a versatile aesthetic with functionality designed for light trails, camping, and urban environments. This is no ordinary summer sandal: its construction is geared toward active outdoor use while offering everyday practicality.
Construction and comfort
The standout feature of these sandals is the padded footbed, designed to cushion each step during long days of wear. The upper features adjustable straps for a personalized fit, adapting to the shape of the female foot without creating pressure points. The hook-and-loop closure allows for quick adjustments even with dirty or wet hands.
Outsole and traction
- Vulcanized rubber outsole with a multidirectional tread pattern for grip on mixed surfaces
- Lightweight EVA midsole that reduces fatigue on long walks
- Low-profile design that maintains good ground feel
- Compatible with thin socks for early morning hikes at altitude
These sandals are particularly well suited for anyone looking for a pair to keep in their backpack: ideal at base camp after a day of trekking, during stays in mountain huts, or during long travel breaks. The clean design also makes them suitable for semi-urban environments without compromising the brand's signature sturdiness.
Pair with: Women's Lightning Alpine Technical T-Shirt, Women's Felik Alpine Leggings, Base Camp Voyager Travel Toiletry Bag.
