DESCRIPTION
The The North Face Trail Run Sock Crew is a technical crew sock designed for those tackling demanding trail running sessions, where uneven terrain and long distances put your feet to the test. Its construction is designed to provide lasting protection without compromising ground feel.
Technical construction and cushioning
The extended anatomical heel wraps around the heel to reduce internal slippage during technical descents, while the lightly padded sole absorbs impact on hard and rocky terrain without weighing down the shoe. The cushioning is selectively concentrated in the areas under the greatest stress—the heel and forefoot—while maintaining a low profile on the rest of the foot for a precise fit.
Support and fit
- Graduated compression ankle for dynamic support during the run and reduced muscle fatigue over the long term
- Crew height (calf-length) that protects the Achilles tendon area and ankles from chafing against the shoe collar
- Technical knit construction that promotes moisture management and breathability during prolonged exertion
- Right/left anatomical profile for a fit free from bunching or pressure points
Suitable for both long mountain outings and mixed-terrain races, these socks maintain their protective and supportive properties mile after mile, all the way to the finish line.
Pair with: Offtrail TR Gore-Tex Women's Trail Running Shoes, Sunriser Men's Trail Running Shorts.
