DESCRIPTION
The Summit Papsura jacket takes its name from the eponymous peak rising above the Tosh Glacier in the Indian Eastern Himalayas — one of the subcontinent's most challenging mixed walls — and brings that same mountaineering ambition to its fabric construction. At its technical core is the FUTURELIGHT™ membrane, an electrospun nanomembrane developed by The North Face as a direct evolution of Gore-Tex: it provides significantly greater breathability than traditional membranes while maintaining complete waterproofness certified for extreme conditions.
Construction and materials
Fully taped seams eliminate any potential leak points along the stitching, a critical feature in high-altitude alpine environments where rain, snow, and ice can alternate without warning. The construction is optimized for low weight and compressibility, two essential factors when every gram in your backpack counts at altitude. The fit is tailored for the female body to ensure full freedom of movement while wearing a harness and technical backpack.

- Ice and mixed climbing where breathability and waterproofness must coexist
