DESCRIPTION
The North Face Jazzi jacket is built around a 3-layer GORE-TEX® fabric system, which guarantees total waterproofing and wind resistance without compromising breathability. Unlike simpler laminated constructions, the three-layer technology combines the outer fabric, the GORE-TEX® membrane, and the inner lining into a single compact sandwich: the result is a lightweight shell, free of a separate lining that retains moisture, suitable for the most dynamic days in the mountains.
Construction and protection from the elements
The GORE-TEX® material on which this jacket is based guarantees certified waterproofing and total wind resistance, while maintaining a level of breathability adequate for physical exertion. The fit is designed for the freedom of movement required by activities such as challenging hiking, mountaineering, and ski mountaineering, where the shell must follow the body without creating friction with the underlying layers. The jacket has no inner lining, which makes it more compressible and quicker to dry.
