The Aconcagua III Hooded Jacket takes its name from the highest peak in the Western Hemisphere — a reference that is not only evocative, but also encapsulates the ambition of this garment: to offer reliable thermal insulation in real winter conditions, without sacrificing practicality or everyday versatility.
Insulation and materials
At the heart of the jacket is its 50/50 hybrid fill: 600 Fill Power down from waterfowl and recycled polyester fiber. This combination is no coincidence: the down provides an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio in dry conditions, while the synthetic fiber retains its insulating properties even when the fill gets damp — a practical advantage in mountain environments or cities with alternating rain and snow. The fill complies with the RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certification, which guarantees traceability and animal welfare throughout the down supply chain.
