DESCRIPTION
The Salomon X Ultra 5 Gore-Tex is a women's hiking shoe designed for those who tackle technical trails with significant elevation changes, seeking a true balance between lightness and stability. The upper is constructed from Matryx®, a composite material that integrates para-aramid fibers into a mesh structure: the result is superior abrasion resistance compared to traditional nylon, without sacrificing breathability. The Gore-Tex membrane ensures certified waterproofing and moisture management in the variable weather conditions typical of the mountains.
Support and cushioning on the ground
The Advanced Chassis™ system integrated into the midsole offers selective torsional rigidity: it protects the foot on uneven rocky terrain without stiffening the stride on flat ground. Cushioning is provided by EnergyCell™ foam, designed to offer reactivity both uphill and during prolonged descents, where weight management is critical.
