DESCRIPTION
The Salomon Quest 4 GTX are women's high-cut hiking shoes designed for long and technical backpacking routes. The upper, made of nubuck leather and synthetic fabric, is paired with a GORE-TEX membrane that ensures certified waterproofing and breathability during the most demanding days, from wet trails to mixed terrain.
Support Technology and Structure
The strong point of the Quest 4 is the Chassis SensiFit system, which wraps around the foot, integrating with the shoe's structure to evenly distribute pressure and stabilize the ankle on uneven terrain. The chassis has been redesigned compared to previous versions to better protect the joints — ankle and knee — even when fatigue sets in or a heavy load is carried on the shoulders. The padded tongue and high collar complete the containment system without restricting freedom of movement.
Sole and Cushioning
- Contagrip MA outsole with multi-directional lugs for traction on mud, wet rock, and gravel
- OrthoLite midsole that offers long-lasting cushioning and internal moisture management
- Midsole with optimized geometry for a natural and fluid stride even at the end of the day
