DESCRIPTION
The Xplorer Rookie is a climbing harness designed specifically for children new to climbing, combining a robust construction with comfort tailored for young climbers. The waist belt features the Salewa Evobelt system, which combines a floating structure with a breathable, contoured closed-cell 3D mesh pad, keeping the harness centered and correctly positioned even during the child's most dynamic movements.
Construction and safety
The leg loops are adjustable and padded, easily adapting to the child's growth and ensuring an even distribution of weight while hanging. The double gear loops allow quickdraws or a chalk bag to be attached, making the harness suitable for a child's first crag sessions. The front tie-in point is reinforced and certified according to EN 12277 standards, the European standard for climbing harnesses.
Suitable for those starting to climb
- Floating waist belt with a breathable 3D mesh pad
- Padded, adjustable leg loops that adapt to the child's growth
- Double gear loops made from durable fabric
- Easy-to-use adjustment buckles, even when used independently
- EN 12277 certification
Ideal for climbing courses, first crag outings, or gym sessions, the Xplorer Rookie provides children with a secure fit without compromising the freedom of movement needed to learn how to move naturally on the wall.
