The SALEWA Sella Dryback Merino is a men's knee-high sock, developed for ski touring and long days at high altitudes. Its name directly refers to the Sella Group (3,152 m), a Dolomitic massif home to some of the most technical descents and challenging couloirs in the Alps — a reference that is not just geographical, but defines the real-world use context of this sock.
Construction and materials
The composition combines merino wool and polyamide: merino manages thermoregulation and neutralizes odors even during prolonged outings, while polyamide adds abrasion resistance in areas of greater friction with the boot shell. The Dryback technology completes the system by ensuring active moisture management, wicking sweat away from the skin to keep feet dry even during the most strenuous ascents.
