DESCRIPTION
The SALEWA Pedroc Carbonium PRO is a high-performance pole designed for speed hiking on technical and varied terrain, where every gram counts and mechanical response must be immediate. The construction adopts a hybrid structure: the upper shaft is made of high-strength carbon, while the lower section is made of Titanal aluminum alloy, a material known for its superior structural rigidity compared to standard aluminum, specially chosen to withstand impact with rocks and scree.
Adjustment and Transport System
The mechanism is self-locking hybrid and foldable: in practice, this means that the pole closes quickly to be stored in the backpack during climbing sections, and unfolds just as quickly, becoming operational again in a few seconds. The height adjustment allows the length to be adapted to the type of terrain and walking technique, while maintaining the rigidity guaranteed by the locking system.
