DESCRIPTION
The SALEWA Pedroc 2 Powertex® is designed for those who tackle the mountains at a fast pace, seeking a shoe that compromises neither lightness nor protection. It's intended for speed hiking and fast hiking, but its versatile profile also makes it suitable for urban commutes before and after an outing.
Technologies and Construction
The upper is made with a Powertex® membrane, SALEWA's proprietary waterproof solution that guarantees protection from water and rain while maintaining a good level of breathability. The midsole has been designed with a thicker stack than previous versions to increase cushioning on long ascents and descents and improve responsiveness on mixed terrain. The fit is anatomical and enveloping, designed to secure the foot on technical sections without sacrificing comfort during extended wear.
Outsole and Grip
The sole unit is developed in collaboration with Pomoca, featuring a tread pattern that offers effective traction on both wet rock and uneven trails, as well as on asphalt and hard surfaces. This makes it one of the shoe's strong points for those who move between different environments on the same day.
