The Salewa Agner Hemp Ripstop pants are designed for climbers tackling crags, boulders, or multi-pitch routes who want a single solution that performs both on rock and during approaches. The fabric is Alpine Hemp ripstop, a combination of natural hemp and recycled polyester: hemp provides breathability, a soft feel, and natural coolness even on the hottest days, while the recycled material significantly reduces the garment's environmental impact without compromising performance.
Technical construction for movement on rock
The cut was developed and tested directly in the Dolomites to ensure full freedom of movement in the most demanding positions: wide stances on boulders, long reaches on slabs, and overhanging sections. The waist is adjustable, and the fit is tailored for the female silhouette, with a profile that doesn't hinder leg movements during climbing. The fabric's ripstop structure protects the pants from typical abrasions from rock contact and small tears from grass and brambles during the approach.
