DESCRIPTION
The PIEPS PRO BT is a 3-antenna avalanche transceiver designed for those operating in high-avalanche-risk alpine environments, from mountain guides to experienced hikers. Its operational logic aims to minimize reaction times: the interface is built around a few clear commands, so that even under stress, the transition from transmit mode to search mode occurs immediately.
Technology and search performance
The integrated Bluetooth module allows connection with the PIEPS app, useful for firmware updates, diagnostic tests from a smartphone, and device management over time. The automatic self-test system continuously verifies the correct functioning of the antenna and transmission, signaling any anomalies before the device is actually used in the field. The search signal reaches up to 50 meters, with intelligent management of multiple burial situations thanks to the function of marking already located victims, which allows isolating signals and continuing the search for others.
