DESCRIPTION
The PETZL Paso Guide 7.7 mm is a 60-meter half rope designed for technical mountaineering and ice climbing in intensive use conditions. With a diameter of only 7.7 mm, it offers an optimal balance between strength and handling in the most demanding high-altitude situations.
Construction and Hydrophobic Treatment
The Guide UIAA Dry treatment applied to the entire rope structure—both the core and the sheath—ensures excellent resistance to moisture, snow, and ice absorption. This makes the Paso Guide particularly reliable during prolonged outings in winter environments or on icefalls, where an untreated rope tends to become heavy and stiff, compromising handling and safety.
