The Petzl Pur'anneau is a sewn sling made of HDPE (high-density polyethylene), a material that offers a significantly superior strength-to-weight ratio compared to traditional nylon. This construction choice results in a product with certified strength at 22 kN while maintaining a low weight – a feature that makes it a preferred choice for those who want to reduce the weight of their rack without compromising reliability.
Construction and Handling
The sewn structure of the sling guarantees superior flexibility compared to knotable slings, simplifying placement on anchors, bolts, and natural protections even with gloves or in cold conditions. The closing seam is colored and varies according to size: this system allows for quick identification of the correct length during activity, without having to read labels or estimate by eye.
