DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Attache BAR Screw Lock solves one of the most common problems in climbing: the carabiner rotating and cross-loading, reducing its effective strength. The Attache's characteristic pear shape is optimized for use with belay systems, while the removable BAR gate transforms the connector into a unidirectional carabiner, ensuring the load always bears on the major axis—the one that guarantees maximum structural strength.
Technical Features
The manual Screw Lock sleeve provides simple and reliable locking, suitable for both sport climbing and multi-pitch. The BAR gate can be inserted and removed without tools, making the system configurable in seconds depending on the situation: with the gate for belaying, without for standard use as a versatile connector.
