DESCRIPTION
The ORTOVOX Traverse 30 is a 30-liter backpack designed for hiking on demanding alpine terrain, where robustness and space organization make the difference between an efficient and an uncomfortable day. Its capacity places it in the ideal range for day trips or light weekend outings at altitude.
Construction and Materials
The main body is made from an outer fabric of 75% recycled polyamide, chosen to withstand the abrasion typical of rocky trails without sacrificing lightness. Approximately 70% of the fabrics used are dyed with Solution Dyed technology: the pigment is incorporated directly into the fiber during production, rather than applied later. This process significantly reduces water and chemical consumption in the production cycle, in addition to ensuring a more durable color over time. A portion of the fabrics is also left undyed, further reducing the environmental impact of production.

The Traverse line is designed to meet the specific needs of mountaineering and high-altitude trekking: ice axe attachment system, easy access to the main compartment, and a back structure that ensures stability even on technical routes. The load distribution is designed to keep the center of gravity close to the back during steep ascents.
