DESCRIPTION
The ORTOVOX Trad 22 DRY is a technical backpack with a 22-liter capacity, designed for crag climbing and mountaineering, where variable weather conditions and the need for quickly accessible gear allow for no compromises.
Construction and materials
The main body is made of highly water-resistant, abrasion-resistant, and tear-resistant DRY fabric, capable of withstanding repeated contact with rock without degrading over time. The robust construction does not sacrifice overall weight, keeping the backpack light and functional even on the most demanding outings. The external attachment system integrates a helmet holder, pole attachments, and an ice axe holder, making technical gear accessible without having to open the main compartment.
Ergonomics and load management
The back system features an anatomical stabilizer with active load distribution, which ensures stability even on steep terrain or when roped up, preventing weight shifts during technical movements. The shoulder straps are shaped not to interfere with the harness system.
