The ORTOVOX Seamless Headband is designed to protect ears and temples during high-intensity winter outdoor activities where sweating and extreme cold coexist. Its seamless construction eliminates any pressure points or friction, making the headband invisible under a ski helmet or mountaineering backpack harness.
Fabric and Thermoregulation
The headband is made from a blend of Merino wool and polyester: the Merino fiber, in direct contact with the skin, ensures natural thermal regulation, absorbs moisture without retaining odors, and maintains warmth even when the fabric is damp. The synthetic polyester component, on the other hand, improves mechanical resistance and shape stability, preventing the headband from deforming or slipping during dynamic movements such as ski touring, winter trail running, or ice climbing.
