DESCRIPTION
The ORTOVOX Peak Headband is a thermal headband designed to protect ears and temples during ski touring, winter hikes, and colder days at altitude. Built around the natural properties of Merino wool, it balances insulation and breathability without sacrificing long-lasting comfort.
Materials and construction
The outer part utilizes the intrinsic characteristics of Merino wool, a natural fiber capable of actively regulating body temperature and managing moisture by wicking it away from the skin, even during high-intensity efforts. The inner lining is made from a blend of premium Merino wool and Tencel fibers, which adds superior softness against the skin and further improves sweat management. The combination results in a headband that doesn't pinch, doesn't retain odors, and maintains its performance over time.
