The ORTOVOX 150 Cool Mountain T-Shirt is born from the union of Merino wool and Tencel™ fiber, a combination that solves one of the classic problems of summer hiking: sweating a lot without sacrificing thermal comfort. The 150 g/m² weight places it in the ultralight range, suitable as a first layer on hot days or as a single layer during ascents.
Technology and materials
The yarn combines Merino wool with Tencel™, a cellulosic fiber derived from eucalyptus wood with a closed-loop production cycle. Tencel™ amplifies wool's natural ability to manage moisture, accelerating sweat evaporation and creating a noticeable cooling effect on the skin. The fabric's structure is more robust than many pure Merino shirts of the same weight, reducing the risk of premature wear in areas of friction with backpacks and straps.
