The ORTOVOX 185 Rock'n'Wool Long Sleeve is a technical long-sleeve men's base layer designed for freeride activities and high-intensity winter outings. The name already reveals its composition: 100% Merino wool with a weight of 185 g/m², a natural fiber that actively works for body thermoregulation, maintaining constant warmth during ascents and drying quickly during more intense efforts.
Material and direct-to-skin comfort
The Merino wool used features very fine fibers that eliminate the itchy sensation typical of traditional wools, making it wearable directly against the skin without discomfort even during prolonged sessions. The natural properties of the fiber ensure active moisture management: sweat is absorbed and wicked away from the skin, reducing the risk of chilling during breaks or descents. Merino wool is also naturally antibacterial, which limits odor formation during intensive use.
