DESCRIPTION
The Norrona Falketind Gore-Tex Jacket is a technical shell jacket designed for year-round mountaineering, capable of meeting the demands of those tackling challenging routes in both summer and winter. Its versatility also makes it suitable for ski mountaineering and high-altitude trekking, where weather conditions change rapidly and the margin for error in equipment is minimal.
Waterproof technology and breathability
The core of the jacket is the GORE-TEX® membrane with ePE technology (expanded polyethylene), the new generation of Gore membranes that combines a waterproof rating of 28,000 mm water column with superior breathability compared to traditional ePTFE membranes. This results in more effective sweat management during challenging ascents, reducing the risk of overheating. The DWR treatment applied externally ensures that water beads off even during prolonged heavy rain.
