The four-way stretch construction practically translates into high foot placements, splits on boulders, or wide movements on cliffs without the fabric pulling or restricting action.

In the areas most exposed to wear — knees, inner thigh, and seat — Montura has applied reinforcements made of high abrasion-resistant material, essential when scraping on slabs or working along dihedral cracks. This makes them suitable not only for sport climbing on crags but also for technical mountaineering and rock hiking, where direct contact with the surface is constant.
