DESCRIPTION
Millet's Fusion Grid Pant is a women's thermal base layer designed for winter activities at high altitudes: it is worn under mountain pants during mountaineering, ski mountaineering or skiing in intensely cold conditions, where thermal control and moisture management become critical factors for safety and comfort.
Textile technology and construction
The fabric used is Polartec® Power Grid™, one of the most established references in the technical baselayer sector. The grid structure of the fabric creates air channels that accelerate sweat evaporation and wick moisture away from the skin, while maintaining effective insulating capabilities. The composition is predominantly made of recycled fiber, which reduces the environmental impact of production compared to equivalent virgin polyesters.
Fit and mobility
The fabric has high multi-directional elasticity that follows the body's movements without creating pressure points or chafing, an essential feature when the thermal pant is combined with rigid outer layers such as waterproof mountaineering shells. The cut is designed for use as a first layer in contact with the skin, with a silhouette that does not add excess bulk.
