The Mammut Alto Light 3 in 1 HS Hooded Jacket is a trekking and mountaineering jacket that effectively solves the problem of thermal management on hikes with variable weather conditions. The 3-in-1 system allows you to use the waterproof outer shell, the inner insulated jacket, or both together, adapting protection to the progression of the route and the day.
Technical construction of the outer shell
The outer layer is made with Mammut DRY 2.5-layer technology, which guarantees waterproofing and breathability in conditions of heavy rain or wet snow. The hood is adjustable to fit the head profile with or without a helmet, while the adjustable cuffs seal the wrists against wind and moisture. The underarm ventilation openings allow heat to be released during intense ascents without having to remove the jacket, and the two external pockets offer quick space for gloves and accessories.
Versatility and insulation
The inner insulated jacket is designed to be light and compressible, so as not to weigh down the ensemble when the two components are worn separately. The combination of the two layers is designed for those who face high-altitude trekking, alpine excursions, or approaches on climbing routes where the weather can change rapidly during the day.
