DESCRIPTION
The Mammut Aenergy SO Hybrid Pants are hybrid softshell pants designed for uphill ski touring, where speed of movement and thermal management during intense exertion matter more than passive cold protection.
Hybrid construction by zone and function
The multi-material construction distributes different fabrics to areas based on biomechanical and thermal needs. The main body uses a medium-weight double-weave softshell, wind-resistant and sufficiently water-repellent to handle light snow and moisture without hindering movement. In areas prone to greater heat production—typically the inner thigh and back of the knee—a lightweight honeycomb fleece is integrated, which accelerates the dispersion of body vapor, maintaining a balanced thermal sensation even during sustained ascents.
