DESCRIPTION
The La Sportiva Ski Touring Gloves are technical gloves designed specifically for freetouring and ski touring, where thermal management must adapt dynamically to the ascent and descent phases. The construction combines thermal insulation and high breathability, a fundamental feature for those tackling significant elevation changes with varying metabolic loads.
Construction and materials
The palm is made of siliconized suede, which guarantees reliable grip on poles and equipment even with gloves dampened by sweat, combining wear resistance with good tactile sensitivity. The most stressed areas — index finger, thumb, and palm — are reinforced with goat leather, a material known for its high abrasion resistance and ability to maintain softness and flexibility even at low temperatures.
Adjustment and safety
- Suede cuff with velcro closure for precise wrist adjustment
- Puller for quick donning and removal even with cold hands
- Safety strap to prevent losing the glove during transitions or technical stops
A practical solution for those who practice ski touring or ski touring and are looking for a glove that balances thermal protection, durability in critical areas, and active sweat management during the ascent phases.
