DESCRIPTION

The La Sportiva Prodigio Max is a trail running shoe designed for those who tackle ultra-distance races on technical terrain, where foot protection and energy retention become decisive factors after the first few hours of running. The foot geometry has been redesigned compared to previous models: the widened forefoot reduces lateral compression over long distances, improving comfort during the swelling phases that accompany every ultra.

Construction and Materials

The upper is made of Comfort Wire TPEE polyester fabric, a material that combines abrasion resistance and structural flexibility, with an internal lining that manages moisture and prevents chafing during prolonged sessions. The construction is designed to keep the foot well-positioned even when muscle fatigue begins to compromise proprioception.

Cushioning and Stability

  • Maximum stack height with high-density EVA material for superior impact absorption on rocky and compact surfaces
  • Excellent stability thanks to the widened platform that reduces rolling downhill and on uneven terrain
  • Outsole with grip designed to ensure traction on mixed surfaces, from beaten trails to soft ground

Suitable for ultra-trails, multi-stage races, and long training runs where muscle recovery also depends on the quality of the shoes on your feet.
