DESCRIPTION

The La Sportiva G5 Evo is a double high-altitude boot designed for extreme mountaineering, ice climbing, and expeditions in intensely cold conditions. The double-boot structure combines a rigid composite outer gaiter with a thermo-insulating inner liner, ensuring thermal protection and technical support even in the most demanding situations above eight thousand meters.

Closure system and fit

One of the distinctive features of the G5 Evo is the BOA® Fit System positioned externally to the gaiter, which allows the lower boot to be tightened precisely and quickly even while wearing thick high-altitude gloves. This eliminates the need to open the zipper to adjust the fit, reducing exposure time to the cold during equipment operations. The Velcro system completes the upper closure, ensuring a stable and customizable fit.
