The La Sportiva Bushido II GTX is the waterproof version of the famous mountain running model, equipped with a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane to guarantee protection from water and snow without compromising the shoe's overall lightness. It was specifically designed for winter skyraces and for use in colder, wetter seasons, where grip and wet traction become critical factors.

Technical Construction and Grip

The Vibram FriXion XF 2.0 outsole is developed with a specific compound to maximize grip on wet rock, mud, and mixed high-altitude terrain. The Impact Brake System in the heel area manages impact on steep descents, while the spike geometry ensures aggressive traction even on compacted snow. The upper structure integrates STB Control (Stability Blade Technology) which laterally stabilizes the foot during oblique supports on uneven terrain.
