DESCRIPTION

The La Sportiva Akasha II is the updated version of one of the most popular models in the Mountain Running® line, redesigned both technically and aesthetically to meet the needs of long-distance runners. It is a shoe specifically designed for UltraMarathon, Ultra-Trail and extended training sessions, where constant comfort over time makes as much difference as foot protection.

Construction and cushioning

The comfortable fit is based on a cushioning system designed to absorb repeated impact over long distances, thanks to a molded footbed insert that supports the foot during hours of running. The upper is constructed to ensure a snug and precise fit, reducing internal movements that, over ultra distances, become a source of blisters and microtraumas. The La Sportiva FriXion® XF rubber outsole offers reliable grip on mixed terrain, from compact trails to more uneven surfaces.
