DESCRIPTION

The Aequilibrium Trek GTX is born from applying mountaineering boot technologies to the trekking category, with the goal of offering a fluid and natural walk even in technical contexts and over long distances with a heavy backpack. The Vibram® Megagrip sole ensures reliable traction on wet and dry surfaces, while the construction with a Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort membrane provides durable waterproofing and good breathability in varying conditions.

Technology and construction

The Impact Brake System (IBS), developed by La Sportiva for the mountaineering world, is integrated into the sole geometry to manage heel impact on descents and promote an anatomical foot roll throughout the stride. The upper is constructed from perforated suede leather with TPU reinforcements, balancing lightness and abrasion resistance. The stiff insole ensures the necessary torsional support when the terrain becomes uneven, without penalizing the feeling of ground contact.
