DESCRIPTION

The Aequilibrium LT GTX is the high-mountain boot designed for those tackling challenging treks with heavy packs, multi-day excursions, and high-altitude alpine trails. The women's version is based on an anatomical female fit, with an inner boot liner shaped to the morphology of the female foot to ensure containment and comfort even on the longest outings.

Construction Technologies

The heart of the design is the Double Heel™ system, a patented geometry with a very pronounced double rear lug that increases braking effect on descents and promotes a natural foot roll on ascents, reducing muscle fatigue on steep terrain. The upper combines leather and technical fabric materials to keep weight down without sacrificing structure, while the Gore-Tex membrane guarantees certified waterproofing and breathability in all weather conditions.

Sole and Support

  • Vibram® Impact Brake System outsole with a compound optimized for braking on descents over mixed terrain
  • Molded EVA midsole for cushioning and lateral stability under load
  • Compatibility with C1/C2 crampons for use on consolidated snow and glaciers
  • Padded tongue with debris anti-penetration system

It is the practical choice for those traversing the GTA, the Tour du Mont Blanc, or multi-day alpine routes with a pack weighing over 15 kg, where ankle stability and grip on wet rock truly make a difference.
