DESCRIPTION
The KONG Tango is an aluminum carabiner with a double-lever safety system, designed to ensure maximum protection against accidental opening in the most exposed situations. The gate's geometry requires a combined action: pressing the rear lever with the palm of the hand and simultaneously pulling the front one, making unintentional opening with a single movement impossible.
Safety system and construction
The rear lever is protected by an integrated guard that prevents accidental activation by compression against the wall, body, or harness—a real risk during dynamic movements or in technical sections. The body is made of high-strength aluminum, with a glossy blue finish that facilitates quick recognition in the gear. The gate's shape ensures smooth rope glide, which is essential in belay systems.
