DESCRIPTION
The KONG Dancer is a technical aluminum swivel designed to eliminate rope twisting when suspending a load at height. Placed between the anchor point and the hoisting system, it allows the rope to rotate freely without transferring torque to the load, keeping work at height safe and under control.
Construction and Mechanical Performance
The body is made of aluminum, a choice that ensures a good balance between structural strength and lightness. The key component is the internal ball bearing, which ensures smooth rotation even under high loads: this means that the swivel does not lock up or offer significant resistance during the tensioning of the system, reducing operational effort and preventing the accumulation of dangerous twists in the rope.
Certification and Scope of Use
- Certified according to standard RFU PPE-R/11.135, suitable for use as a component of fall arrest and professional suspension systems
- Suitable for rope access work, load hoisting operations, and tree climbing activities where torsion management is critical
