DESCRIPTION
The KONG 4RIG is a 4-position anchor multiplier designed for those who need to organize a vertical workstation efficiently and safely. Thanks to its geometry, it allows multiple anchor points to be distributed from a single plate, eliminating the clutter of overlapping carabiners and making the entire system configuration readable at a glance.
Construction and technical updates
Made of light aluminum alloy, the 4RIG combines weight containment, compactness, and mechanical resistance. The current version introduces an increased thickness of 10 mm compared to previous versions, increasing structural robustness without sacrificing lightness. The chamfered holes reduce wear on connectors and facilitate quick insertion even with gloves. The top hole is sized to accommodate two connectors simultaneously, a detail that makes it ideal for anchoring the plate to systems already equipped with multiple fixed carabiners.
When to use it
The 4RIG is particularly useful in rope access, rope work, and vertical rescue operations, wherever it is necessary to keep multiple connection points accessible and well-separated — for lanyards, pulleys, descenders, or additional anchors. The orange color improves visibility in low light conditions or on chaotic surfaces.
