DESCRIPTION
The Hoka Zinal W is a trail running shoe designed for those who tackle technical and challenging terrain without wanting to compromise on lightness and responsiveness underfoot. Compared to the previous version, Hoka has revised the sole geometry, reducing the stack height by 2 mm, a choice that lowers the center of gravity and improves the ground feel, allowing for a more precise and controlled run even on uneven sections.
Sole and grip
The outsole has been redesigned with taller lugs and a more aggressive pattern, ensuring solid grip on mud, wet grass, and rock. The combination of a low-profile stack geometry and a biting outsole makes the Zinal W particularly suitable for races and training on fast single tracks, where immediate responsiveness is needed with every step.
Upper and fit
The upper is constructed with a breathable engineered mesh, updated with a knit collar that softly wraps around the ankle and reduces pressure points during long descents. The result is a secure, comfortable fit that is well adapted to the female foot's morphology.
