The Ferrino Lightec SM 1100 is an expedition sleeping bag designed for those facing extreme conditions while minimizing pack weight. With a comfort temperature of -6°C and an extreme limit of -23°C, it falls into the high-end range of the Lightec line and meets the demands of technical mountaineering, high-altitude trekking, and long traverses in cold environments.
Construction and Materials
The outer shell is made of 300T Ripstop polyester, a cross-weave that increases tear resistance while keeping the fabric light and compressible. The Shingle synthetic fiber filling is distributed with staggered tile stitching, a technique that eliminates thermal bridges between layers and ensures uniform insulation over the entire surface, including the seam areas. This solution works effectively even in humid conditions, unlike down.
