DESCRIPTION
The Endura Hummvee Mips® is a mountain bike helmet built around two concrete priorities: real protection and a precise fit. The Mips® (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) technology adds a low-friction layer that allows the helmet to rotate slightly upon impact, reducing the rotational forces transmitted to the brain—one of the most underestimated risk factors in bike crashes.
Construction and Certifications
The shell is made with In-Mould construction, a process that fuses the EPS foam with the outer shell into a single piece, resulting in a structure that is lighter than double-construction helmets without sacrificing structural rigidity. The helmet is CPSC and CE EN1078:2013 + A1:2012 certified, the two main international standards for bicycle helmets.
Adjustment and Fit
The three-point side adjustment system allows for optimal positioning on the temples, while micro-adjustments can be made with one hand even while moving—useful during technical trail rides when stopping isn't always an option. The result is a helmet that conforms to the shape of the skull without uncomfortable pressure on long rides.
