This isn't just a marketing ploy: the project led to an 80-meter rope with a technical profile built around the real needs of big walls and demanding multi-pitch routes.
Technology and Construction
The ECO DRY treatment waterproofs both the sheath and core of the rope, ensuring stable performance even in humid, rainy, or snowy conditions. The proprietary Color Tec technology integrates a clearly visible color change at the midpoint directly into the production process, serving as a permanent mid-point marker: it doesn't wear off, fade, or detach. The construction uses a continuous braid, a method that standardizes load distribution along the entire length and improves durability over time.
