DESCRIPTION
The CT Click Up+ is an assisted-braking belay device, a direct evolution of the Click Up, a device that has accumulated seven years of field use. The mechanism works on a principle of automatic rope locking in the event of a fall, while maintaining full manual control during recovery and lowering, a feature that distinguishes it from passive devices.
Compatibility and technical data
The Click Up+ is compatible with all dynamic single ropes from Ø 8.5 to 11 mm, covering the entire range of diameters used in modern climbing. Its compact profile and low weight make it efficient both for trips to the crag and for repeated use during an indoor session. The device allows operation in lead climbing and top-rope modes, adapting to the two main scenarios of rock climbing and artificial wall climbing.
Use and ideal context
The Click Up+ is designed specifically for sport climbing at the crag and indoors, contexts where rope management speed and ease of use are priorities.
