The Castelli Pro Mesh 2.0 Sleeveless is a technical cycling base layer developed in close collaboration with WorldTour riders, designed to function as a first layer in a temperature range from cool to mild conditions. The open-mesh construction facilitates breathability and wicks moisture away from the skin, keeping the body dry even during the most intense efforts.
Construction and materials
The perforated mesh structure creates micro-air channels that promote circulation and accelerate sweat evaporation. The fabric works in synergy with the outer jersey: instead of retaining moisture, it quickly transfers it to the upper layer. Thanks to this versatility, the Pro Mesh 2.0 is also used as a base layer under the Flanders Warm base layer on colder days, ensuring multi-level thermal management.
